A question for a tattoo artist or anyone who knows about tattoos...?

im planning on getting a tattoo for my children. i want to get 3 little footprints on my foot with their initials next to them. i wanted to personalize it a little more by possibly making the footprints actually theres from the hospital. but is there a way to shrink them down small enough to fit 3 and then be able to add another if needed? i was thinking maybe each print be about an inch big (or less if possible).
