What color highlights should i get?

I have in between dark brown and light brown hairbut i want to get one highlight near the front of my hair, but i was thinking about getting a dark blue highlight, i never tried red highlights befor but in my mind it would just look like blood,well, what do you think and i also need a guys apinion on this ,cause i want to know if they think it would look cute or tacky i can also take girls opionions, cause, idk they know stuff abut beauty too...sooo yeah plz reply...bye! :) love ya hehe!
