Why is there no fund-raising to help clean up the oil in the Gulf?

Normally, with every national tragedy there are a host of do-gooders out there shaking their money maker. Why is there no fund raising for the Gulf yet? Are we waiting for BP to go into bankruptcy? Are we still mad at the south over that Civil War thing? Is this simply more superbowl hate? Where is the love?
