Do I have bronchitis or just a cold?

It's sunday today and since Thursday night I've been having a horrible sore throat. I have not gone to the doctors yet, but I wake up constantly during the night. I cough A LOT and when I do mucus comes out, it's greenish-yellow. When I wake up in the morning my throat is very dry and I have a stuffy nose. I cough a lot and it's almost painful. What should I do and what is this?
