How to dress as a bharatanatyam dance girl?

Hi I am from a boys only highschool and have to do a presentation to a group of foreigners who will visit our college on South Indian culture. I am askd to dress as a female bharatanatyam dancer and do the presentation (oral). another guy is doing the male dancer. I know a little amount of dance, but never hd dressed as a female dancer. Can somebody explain me the dress i should wear, the ornaments and the makeup for this role?
